A passionate reporter, Chrissy McLarty, chrissy.mclarty@snntv.com, prides herself on being a "Voice For the Voiceless". She enjoys covering breaking news, stories about people and local events benefiting a good cause. Chrissy is a native Floridian who grew up right over the Skyway bridge in Clearwater who has been in "The Business" for 15 years. She was bit by the "News Bug" at the young age of 7 when Channel 10 in Tampa offered her the opportunity to be "Weather Bee" for the day. Chrissy won many awards including the SPJ/RTDNA Excellence in Journalism Reporter and the Associate Press Broadcasters Feature Award.
