#WCW - This Just in ... Gamma Iotas reporting the news! #AXO #axoyoungalums

A passionate reporter, Chrissy McLarty, chrissy.mclarty@snntv.com, prides herself on being a "Voice For the Voiceless". She enjoys covering breaking news, stories about people and local events benefiting a good cause. Chrissy is a native Floridian who grew up right over the Skyway bridge in Clearwater who has been in "The Business" for 15 years. She was bit by the "News Bug" at the young age of 7 when Channel 10 in Tampa offered her the opportunity to be "Weather Bee" for the day. Chrissy won many awards including the SPJ/RTDNA Excellence in Journalism Reporter and the Associate Press Broadcasters Feature Award. A proud sister of the Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, she volunteered hundreds of hours in support of Peaceful Paths against Domestic Violence. Catch her running along the beach or playing tennis. And always feel free to tweet her @CHRISSYMCLARTY

We are so proud of our three sisters who are Class XII Mentees of The Florida Leadership Academy.

The FLA aims to develop undergraduate students for leadership positions in society's most important institutions: educationalcorporatenot-for-profit, and governmental. It was founded to provide professional development opportunites for the top 100 sophomores in the Warrington College of Business!

"Who Are the Diplomats?

The Warrington Diplomats serve as the official student ambassador for the Warrington College of Business by attracting high caliber prospective students, building community within the college, and empowering students to embrace what it means to be a business gator. This program is comprised of the top highly committed and motivated business students selected through a competitive application process.
As the College’s official ambassadors, the Diplomats provide numerous services, such as conducting tours, hosting special Warrington events and alumni cafes, facilitating Leadership Ventures, and interacting with employers. Through the Center for Career and Leadership Development, the Warrington Diplomats put on events to help business gators grow personally and professionally and get the most out of their University of Florida experience."
Gamma Iota is proud of Madison Grasty, #BusinessGator! (below photo, bottom row, right side)

Hall of Commitment - Spring 2016 #4lifenot4years #AXOalumnae #UFAXO

Hall of Commitment is the “graduation ceremony” for our collegiate seniors. It is the third string of the Ritual of Alpha Chi Omega from new member, to initiation, to alumnae life. This special event held in December and April celebrates our senior collegians, and serves as the transition between collegiate and alumnae status.

Still looking strong and fabulous! Cheers to alumnae life!

So much joy! Can't wait for y'all to return for reunions and UF tailgates!

Destination Unknown! #AlwaysAlphaChi #UFAXO

One of our favorite fall social events is #DestinationUnknown! The vice president of risk management and her committee begin work on the event over the summer to reveal a fun date event that helps us seal the semester with adventure, laughter and relaxation.

Ugh. We were so special! We went to an ice hockey game for 2015. LOVED IT!
